Second graders returned to school excited to see old friends, meet new ones and explore their new classrooms spaces this week. Students are learning new activities that promote class community building and taking risks to try new routines. Students are starting their day with morning meetings and ending with closing circles which provide opportunities to practice listening and speaking skills. On Friday, second graders worked together to find answers for given clues on a Primary School scavenger hunt. The activity was great fun and helped students in grades Pre-K through 3 work together. We are all looking forward to a great year in second grade!
